Say guten tag to Coach Steph! Spring Creek has been her home since 2009 but she'll always be our favorite German. She shares her life and business with her husband Justin, a few horses, and dogs. Together they love exploring the outdoors on foot, by horseback, or in a canoe.
Stephanie didn't walk the typical path to gym life. Growing up on the petite side, she aspired to feel more confident in her body and embrace her whole self. Stephanie joined a <a href="https://www.crossfit.com">CrossFit™</a> gym almost 3 years ago and in no time at all, became infatuated with the sport and the environment. Her constant search for fresh ideas and her infectious
laugh are sure to brighten up a drab fitness routine.
At 49 years old, Steph has been working out consistently since the beginning of 2020. Showing up at the gym was the first step. The second step took a lot more effort - finding the right nutrition. She didn't always have a great respect for food, but when you're young you can get away with a lot. As she found herself getting older and having more responsibilities, family, kids, jobs, too much sitting, menopause, perimenopause, you name it, she realized that she only had a basic comprehension of food and what worked for her body. She recently completed a nutrition course to help her better understand food and the role it plays in our fitness and wellness levels.
No matter your personal goal, in regard to weight or just understanding nutrition - it starts with good habits. She doesn't want it to be complicated for her and she doesn't want it to be complicated for you. Learning to choose different options is an amazing way to start changing your pantry.
