If you’re looking for a trainer that will create a safe, empowering, and vibrant atmosphere for your workouts, then Coach Lacey is your girl! Coaching isn’t just what she does, it’s who she is. Throughout her life she has always gravitated towards teaching and nurturing individuals. Lacey thrives when she is able to champion someone’s success whether that was through her early years of being a nanny, to coaching youth soccer. Lacey has continued to mentor through home-schooling her two sons, being head coach to the JV Boys Soccer team of her alma mater, Spring Creek High School, and being part owner of Valkyrie Fitness. Lacey believes that working out isn’t a punishment for what you’ve eaten, but a celebration of what your body is capable of! Lacey works tirelessly to make sure you don’t think of Valkyrie Fitness as any other gym. It’s a place where you can trust the coaches to be your counselors, therapists, hype-women, and confidants for the traumas your body holds onto. Feeling good inside and out is Lacey’s priority. Let the hour you spend at Valkyrie Fitness be the best part of the day. Never worry if you can do the workout, because with Coach Lacey, you WILL find your strength. With her CF-L1™ certification she has tailored WODs to fit the capabilities of people ages five to seventy-five. With her level two certification on the horizon, she is sure to keep discovering new ways to challenge athletes and ensure that your workouts are anything but boring!
Outside of the gym you can find Lacey spending her precious free time with her husband Blane, sons Mason and Tydus and their two dogs. If it’s outdoors in the Nevada sunshine you can find her there. Whether that be hiking in Lamoille Canyon, paddleboarding at the Marina, or hosting backyard barbeques with her favorite people. Concerts, reading, sushi, tanning, sloths, and all things colorful are just a few of her favorite things. She adores her church family and the children she gets to teach in Sunday school. She gives all the glory to God for this wonderful life
